🕯️🍿 Teenage Doll (1957) 🎬 “Dig this, cats and chicks! Pull up a chair and settle in, ’cause we’re about to drop the needle on a real cool flick from way back in ’57. This ain’t no square suburban soaper — it’s Teenage Doll, the real low-down on the Black Widows and the Vandals when the streets got mean and the pads got wild. Roger Corman’s in the driver’s seat, so buckle up, daddy-o. It’s gonna be a gas!” Cast June Kenney as Barbara Bonney — the square chick who flips her wig and falls for the wrong cat Fay Spain as Helen (Hel) — the tough-as-nails leader of the Black Widows, pure hellcat John Brinkley as Eddie Rand — the greaser king of the Vandals, cool as ice and twice as dangerous Colette Jackson as May — one of the Widows who don’t take no guff Barbara Wilson as Betty Herne — another doll in the gang mix Ziva Rodann as Squirrel (Eva) — the wild one with the sharp claws Barboura Morris as Janet — the kid sister caught in the crossfire Ed Nelson, Richard Devon, Bruno VeSota, and the rest of the crazy cast of cats and chicks who make this rumble sizzle Crew Directed & Produced by Roger Corman — the hippest cat behind the camera in ’57, cranking out teenpics faster than you can say “rumble” Written by Charles B. Griffith — the word man who put the real heat in the dialogue Executive Producer Bernard Woolner / Associate Producer Lawrence Woolner — the brothers who bankrolled this wild ride Cinematography Floyd Crosby — the lens cat who made those shadowy night streets look dangerous and cool Music Walter Greene — the cool sounds that keep the jive jumping Locations “Mostly shot in the dark alleys, junkyards, and square suburban pads of Los Angeles, daddy-o. Real street-level stuff — rooftops where the Black Widows hang, the Vandals’ turf, and those middle-class houses that look safe till the gang bangs on the door. Pure 1950s night-time noir with a side of juvenile-delinquent juice.” #Teenage #Doll #1950sTeenmovie #JuvenileDelinquent #BlackWidows #Vandals #GirlGang #FilmNoir #1957Movies #DriveInClassic #Teen #June #Spain #CatsOfTwitter #RumbleTime #netflix #skydance #AvengersDoomsday #Avengers #AvengersEndgameEncore #xmovies #MoviesTvTj #movies #freemovies #freemovie #WWESuperCard #WWE #wweraw #WWESMACKDOWN #gangs #streetgangs #Gangster #gangsta
